The waterfront is packed with scrumptious breakfast places, but for a view that isn’t blocked by passing cars and pedestrians, head up the hill. Doğatepe Café and Restaurant has a predominantly Turkish clientele who love that it’s set peacefully away from the chaos below. The food gets raves and rants, but the view is beautiful, combining the history of the fortress, the green of the secluded gardens and the sparkle of the Bosphorus.
